Fred R. Plue, 55 of Galesburg, died at 1:19 a.m. on April 15, 2011 at Cottage Hospital. Fred was born on October 23, 1955 in Galesburg, the son of Earl and Raynola (Mulady) Plue. Surviving Fred is his partner of 17 years, Angela Courson of Galesburg; a son, Anthony Plue of Galesburg; a daughter, Jennifer Plue of Galesburg; a brother, Roger (Cheryl) Plue of Galesburg; and 4 sisters, Robbie (Carl) Malcolm of Knoxville, Jean McDowell of Galesburg, Lucy (Randy) Goben of Knoxville, and Kathy (Frankie) Howard of Knoxville.
He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Emily and Victoria Plue, and Dante Plue. Fred was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Charlene Mahnesmith. Fred worked at Maytag for over 30 years retiring in 2004. He loved hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors. Fred loved helping family with projects and being on the family farm. Fred was mechanically inclined and loved working on the farm tractors.
