Fred Jones, age 76 of Cleveland. Mr. Jones passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Jones was born in White County on November 11, 1934 to the late Hammond Jones and Grace Gertrude Knight Jones. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Joyce Stow, Frances Jones and brother Paul D. Jones
Survivors include his wife, Mattie Mae Jones, of Cleveland, daughters, Shirley Land, Cleveland, Judy Roper, Gainesville, Martha Sue Grace, Cleveland, Tammy Hoosline, Cleveland,Jackie Montieth, Cleveland, Shelly Montieth, Cleveland; sons, Clay Montieth, Cleveland; , Eugene Jones, Oakwood, Wayne Jones, Jackson Co.,; sisters, Mary Lou Turpin, Gainesville, Cathy Jones, Lula, Janey Pierce , Oakwood, Ruby Smith, Lula, Wanda Stewart, Lula; brothers, David Jones and Daniel Jones both of Oakwood. Mr. Jones is also survived by his twenty six grandchildren and thirty six great grandchildren
