Mr. Fred E. Salter, 75, of Franklin passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015. He was born September 20, 1940 to the late Fred D. Salter & Gertrude McGahee Salter.
Fred was an avid fan of the University of Alabama and he also enjoyed golf, bowling, and visiting with friends. He was a member of Elim Baptist Church.
Survivors include wife, Katie Presley Salter; sons, Tony Salter, Bryan Salter; sisters, Rachel Willingham, Connie Salter; brother, Terry Salter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
