Franklin David “Frank” Hanthorn
July 6, 1943 – June 19, 2015
Frank passed away early Friday morning June 19, 2015 at Country Square Adult Foster Care in Auburn. Age 71 years. The son of the late Clarence and Emma (Meyer) Hanthorn was born July 6, 1943 in Bay City. Frank retired from American Bottling Company/7up. He enjoyed going hunting, bowling, going to the casino and also enjoyed visiting with his neighbors.
Left to cherish Frank’s memories is his wife of 49 years, the former Joyce Geisz whom he married March 5, 1966, one son; Christopher (Mary) Hanthorn, his brother; John (Louise) Hanthorn, his sister-in-law; Nancy Nowak, his brothers-in-law; Louis (Polly) VonGrey and Ken Harrison, his best friend; Stan Kortz many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law; Henry and Marie Geisz, his brothers and sisters; Richard “Duke” Hanthorn, Rita VonGrey, Jeanne Harrison and Sammy Hanthorn.
