Franklin D. “Pete” Crosley, 77, of New Whiteland, passed away Monday April 18, 2011 at Greenwood Health & Living. He was born September 22, 1933 in Fortville to the late William and Bertha (Hennis) Crosley and was a 1951 graduate of Fortville High School. He retired from Delco-Remy in Anderson after 30 years of service. Previously, he had worked for many years at Blue & White. Pete was a member of the Fortville F&AM Lodge No. 207, the Murat Shrine, the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis; and Whiteland United Methodist Church.
Pete is survived by his wife Barbara L. (Conner-Somers) Crosley, whom he married on June 6, 1999; son Richard (Jenny) Crosley of TX; son Donald (Rita) Crosley of OK; daughter Penny (Brian) Moore of Greenwood; daughter Gale Jacobi of McCordsville; step-daughter Pam (Jeff) Price of Greenwood; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brother William (Myrna) Crosley of New Palestine; and Edna Peters, the mother of his children. He was preceded in death by brother Edward Crosley; sister Molly Crosley; and son-in-law Jerry Jacobi.
