Frankie Thomas was born April 4, 1951 to the late David and Johnnie Mae Thomas in Raeford, North Carolina and departed this life on March 29, 2008 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. His family moved to Fayetteville in 1957 where they made their home on Racepath Street in the Campbelton Community. “Freaky Frankie” as most people knew him was well known by “EVERBODY”. In 1976, Frankie’s family relocated to Edmeston Drive where he won the hearts of all who knew him. He attended E.E. Smith High School where he graduated in 1971.
Frankie had many occupations but seem to have a love for the Mortuary Business.
Frankie leaves to cherish his memories: one sister: Irene Thomas of Fayetteville, NC; one son: Joseph White of Wichita, Kansas; one daughter: Enina Lashley of Kentucky; three aunts: Gertrude Sellers (Jessie), Sadie Ellerbee and Francis Thomas all of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; six special people to Frankie: a niece: Jennifer; three (3) great nieces: Mone’t, Andrea, and Kathy; two great nephews: D’Adrian and Michael and a host of other relatives and friends.
