Frankie Ruth Jackson a resident of Anderson passed away on February 10, 2015 at St Vincent’s Regional Hospital of Anderson after an extended illness.

She was born on April 17, 1935 in Troy Alabama and resided most of her life in Anderson. She retired from Madison County Head Start after 34 years of service. Frankie was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and devoted her life to helping others learn the truth from the Bible.

Frankie is survived by three sons, Melvin (Denise) McCullough of Michigan, Terry Jackson of Anderson, Leroy (Pam) Jackson of Washington; Two daughters, Theresa (Leslie) Patterson of South Carolina, Daneta Jackson of Anderson; Two sisters, Ruthie Boyd and Eula (Wayne) Townsend of Anderson; Nine grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years James Arby Jackson, Sr., her parents Tommie and Lucille McCullough, two brothers, Jimmie Lee Evans and Tommie McCullough Jr, two sisters Annie M. Glen and Mae Lois Johnson, two sons James Jr and Willie, and one daughter Louise, and several aunts and uncles.
