Frankie “Frank” Dean Keigley, 67 of Centralia, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Frank was born November 13, 1946, in Macedonia, Illinois, the son of Kenneth F. Keigley and Odessa (Blackward) Keigley.

He married Verla “V.J.” Walthes on October 1, 1983, in New Baden and she survives in Centralia.

In addition to his wife of 30 years, he is also survived by a son, Chad Keigley and wife Jen of Salem; a daughter, Kelle Keigley of Centralia; five grandchildren: Brittany Keigley and boyfriend Matt Sledge of Florence, AL, Danielle Hartrup and husband Jordan of Centralia, Alexis Keigley of Centralia, Angel Ramey of Salem and Anna Draper of Salem; three great- grandchildren: Ember Sledge of Florence, AL, Nevaeh Rogers of Salem and one on the way; two brothers: Kenneth Keigley of Charleston, IL and Mark Keigley and special friend Dona of Hawaii; three brother-in-laws and seven sister-in-laws: James Walthes and wife Annette of Columbia, S.C., Kenneth Walthes and wife Clara of Mascoutah, Judy Dorris and husband Tom of West Frankfort, IL, Doris Altom and husband Lin of Houston, MO, Kay Jennings and husband Denzil of Pontiac, MO, Betty Helf and husband Ed of Belleville, IL, Mary Stagg and husband David of Perryville, MO, Sandy Walthes of Kinmundy, IL, Terry Walthes and girl friend Trudy of Swansea, IL, Susan Walthes of Mascoutah, IL; hunting partner: Albert Quick and wife Cathy of Patoka several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, a brother: Teddy Keigley, a Brother-in-law: Larry Walthes, a sister-in-law: Kathy Walthes, a niece: Ginger Boyd, and his four-legged companion, Tippy. Frank owned Keigley Electric for 13 years. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and drag racing. He also enjoyed watching Verla’s wildlife.

Most of all he loved spending time with his wife, family, his four-legged friend Lilt T, and friends.
