Frank J. Schwartz, 61, of Fountain Hill, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008, in his home. He was the husband of Maryann C. (Haymaker) Schwartz for 34 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph Schwartz and Kathryn (Buchen) Schwartz of Allentown. Frank worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. in Central Tool for 30 years until retiring in 1996. Later he worked in maintenance at the Wedgewood Golf Course in Coopersburg. He was a avid golfer, sports fan and a handyman who took great pride in everything that he did. He was an army veteran of Vietnam. He was a loving husband, father and pop-pop who will be lovingly remembered by his wife Maryann at home; mother Kathryn of Allentown; daughter Shelby Schwartz of Allentown; sister Virginia Guth and her husband Lee of Whitehall; brother Robert Schwartz and his wife Britt of Clearwater, Fla; grandsons Marquis and Richy.
