Frank J. Marchesano Sr., of Toms River, N.J., was 89 when he passed away peacefully on Oct. 6, 2016.
Born and raised in Newark, N.J., Frank spent most of his life there until retiring to Toms River. He was a meat cutter in the supermarket industry for over 37 years. Frank served honorably in the United States Army, later becoming a member of the VFW Post 4290, New Milford, N.J. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 835, Belleville, N.J. Frank was the beloved husband of the late Frances , loving father of Joseph Marchesano, Frank Marchesano Jr. his wife, Debra, Angela Perrone her husband, Dominick, and Donna Hughes her husband, Terance, cherished brother of Domenica, Joseph, Jack and the late Lawrence. Frank is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
