Frank J. Korpics, Sr., 82, of Freemansburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at St. Lukes Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. He was married to his loving wife Ethel (Doll) Korpics for over 62 years. Born in Bethlehem, Frank was a son of the late Lorince and Rosie (Csuk) Korpics. He was a truck driver for most of his life, and retired from Abbotts Dairy before working at the Classic Car Wash. He had also worked at Vallos Bakery. Frank was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He devoted his life to his wife and family. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, traveling and visiting casinos. Survivors: wife Ethel; children Frank J. Korpics, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Hellertown, Ethel L. Korpics and her companion Mike Ross of Hellertown, Lawrence Korpics and his wife Denise of Bethlehem, Francine Korpics Heft and her husband Eugene of Freemansburg; granddaughters Heather Purcell and her husband Alan, Elizabeth Korpics, Jacquelyn Korpics; great-grandson Aidan Purcell. Frank was predeceased by his sister, Mary Jawback Allen, and his brothers Charlie, Stephen, Joseph and John Korpics.
