Frank H. Kovacic, 88, of La Salle passed away at 10:07 AM on Saturday January 16, 2016 in his home surrounded by family and friends.
Mr. Kovacic was born on April 29, 1927 in La Salle to Frank and Theresa (Ticar) Kovacic. He served in the US Marines during World War II in the Occupation of Japan. He later worked as a laborer and worked for Central Illinois Contractors and retired from La Salle Labor Local Union. He loved nature and walking the towpath.
Mr. Kovacic is survived by his niece Tracy (Don) Kotecki of La Salle and nephew Tom Kovacic of La Salle, one great niece, one great nephew, and two great- great nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Al “Brassy” Kovacic and two sisters Mary Kovacic and Albena Kovacic.
