Frank Dennis Guthrie was born December 18, 1951 to Glenn and Darlene (Reynolds) Guthrie.
He worked as a truck driver, then owned his own painting business for many years.
Frank passed away Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, surrounded by his family and friends. He was 56. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Kathy Jo Guthrie in 1993.
Those left to honor Frank’s memory include his two sons, Nathan Guthrie of Newton and Jason Cline (Minnie Lundberg) of Urbandale; two daughters, Emily Guthrie and Heather (Scott)Semke, all of Lorimor; his two grandchildren, Katelyn and Jacob; two brothers, Mark Guthrie of Des Moines and Chuck Guthrie of Florida; and his dog, Pudge.
