Frank G. Koloszar, 90, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2022, in Wellbrooke of South Bend. Frank was born on December 29, 1931 in South Bend to Frank L. Koloszar and Elizabeth (Nyikos) Koloszar, and was a lifelong resident. He retired in 1976 as a Captain with the South Bend Fire Department, where he was employed for 21 ½ years. On February 16, 1952, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, he married Norma J. Kruszysnki, who survives. Frank is also survived by his daughter, Brenda (Andrew) Durrenberger of South Bend, Indiana; his son, David (Theodora) Koloszar of South Bend, Indiana; three grandchildren, Gabriel Koloszar, Sally Durrenberger and Kelly Durrenberger; and two great-grandchildren, Carson Bell and Payton Nichols. He was preceded in death by his son, F. Gary Koloszar; his sister, Betty Urbanski; and his brother, Robert Koloszar.
