Frank F. Rutt, 87, of Hudson Lake, IN, passed away at 6:10 a.m., Monday, April 23, 2007, in Millers Merry Manor, New Carlisle, IN. Frank was born on June 27, 1919 in Garden City, MO, to Charles Foster Rutt and Clarice (Mahair) Rutt. He retired in 1998 from Magnum Security. He had also been employed as a truck driver with Allied Van Lines and Hi Grade Food Products. On November 1, 1948, he married Tressie Faye Heroy Crome, who preceded him in death on March 30, 1997. Also preceding him in death were a son, Larry P. Rutt (1978), a sister, Frances Downey, and a nephew whom he helped to raise, Dennis Nally. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Woolwine of Veedersburg, IN; a son, William R. (Kim) Rutt, Sr. of South Bend, IN; nine grandchildren, Sandra Rutt, William R. Rutt, Jr., James Rutt, Julie Rutt, Carrie Rutt, Frankie Rutt, Jeff Woolwine, Mark Woolwine, and Lauren Woolwine; many great grandchildren; a nephew whom he helped to raise, Paul Nally; and his pet dog, Roxie.
