Frank D. Foster, 66, of Alexander, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012, at his residence.
He was born March 21, 1946, in Jacksonville, the son of Robert F. and Anna Lois McGinnis Foster. He married Kay Crow and she survives.He is also survived by his mother of Jacksonville; three children, Douglas (Andrea) Foster of Edwardsville, Mark (Jackie) Foster of Normal, and Beth (Dan) Bradley of Lebanon; six grandsons; and three sisters, Nancy (George) Schultz of Jacksonville, Carol Laputz of Bentonville, AR, and Sue Buttrick of Carmel, IN. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Janet Nazeri.
Mr. Foster was a superintendent for R.D. Lawrence Construction Company for over 40 years. He was a member of the Jacksonville Sportsmen’s Club and the NRA. Frank was an avid shooter and gun collector.
