Frank C. “Butch” Richmond, Jr., 72 years, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away peacefully at his home in Carver, surrounded by his loving family on May 18, 2020. Butch succumbed to complications of a recent diagnosis of Leukemia, but he was no stranger to medical problems. Despite his constant battles, he always managed to fight through and defy the odds. He leaves behind his beloved wife of forty-four years, Linda (Scott) Richmond. He leaves behind his loving daughter, Cristina Colorusso and her husband Michael of Plymouth. He was pre-deceased by his son and best friend, Timothy John “TJ” Richmond who passed away in 2003, from Cystic Fibrosis. He was the cherished “Papa” to Gabrielle and Olivia Colorusso. He was the brother of Aneice Lawrence and her late husband Derryl Sr., of Plymouth. He was the uncle of Derryl Lawrence, Jr. and Heidie Grant of Plymouth. He was the great uncle of Cassandra, Molly and Michael Hogan and Benjamin and John Timothy “JT” Lawrence all of Plymouth. He also, leaves behind many loving cousins. Butch was born on December 1, 1947 in Plymouth to Frank and Doris (Bouchard) Richmond, Sr. He attended Plymouth Schools and worked as a carpenter for most of his life. He worked for several years as an Irrigation Technician at New England Lawn Irrigation in Plymouth. He was an avid New England sports fan. He enjoyed tinkering in the yard and house and could always be found wearing his baseball hat and flannel shirt. He loved his family, but his granddaughters, stole his heart. He will be dearly missed by all those that loved him.
