Torrington: Frank A. Janssen, 84, formerly of Norfolk, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Valerie Manor Convalescent Home following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Mary (Mellas) Janssen who died in 2002. Born in Winsted, August 10, 1924 a son of the late Louis and Garnet (Benedict) Janssen, he had lived most of his life in Norfolk before moving to Torrington three years ago. Prior to his retirement he had worked at the Torrington Co.
