Frank Zywicki, 58, of Boise, Idaho, passed away of natural causes at his home on Saturday, April 7, 2012. He was born Franciszek Zywicki on March 9, 1954, in Tyrawa Solna, Poland, to Wiktor and Stanislawa Zywicki. He was the fifth of six children. He grew up in Mrzyglod, southeast of Krakow, bordering on the Ukraine. He lived during the historic and tumultuous times of post-World War II Poland, the communist era, the Solidarity movement and the imposition of martial law.
He held a life-long interest in education.
He loved nature and the outdoors, and shared that love with his three boys. He spent many happy hours fishing, camping, hiking, and hunting (taking his gun for a walk). He was also an accomplished wood craftsman and an enthusiastic gardener with an amazing “green thumb.” He had a cheerful temperament and a wonderful sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, older brother Adam, older sister Maria.
