Francis W. Carroll, Jr., age 88, of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late Susan H. Carroll, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family Thursday, May 27, 2021. Born in Bridgeport, the son of the late Frank W. and Agnes Flanagan Carroll, he was a lifelong Fairfield resident. Bud graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas School, Fairfield College Preparatory School, and Fairfield University, Class of 1955, and served in the United States Army. Following his graduation, Bud went to work for his father at F.W. Carroll and Son Plumbing and Heating, and ran the business into his 80s. He was an active parishioner of St.
