Okie Bonsall
F. L. “Okie” Bonsall, 80, of Norman, passed away June 23, 2013. Okie was born January 27, 1933 in West Chester, Pennsylvania to Caleb and Myrtle Ruth (McVeigh) Bonsall.
Okie proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and worked at Tinker Air Force Base for 35 years before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son Michael Bonsall; three sisters and seven brothers.
Okie is survived by his wife of 34 years Charlotte Bonsall; sons Steve Bonsall and wife Cheryl of Oklahoma City, Brad Bonsall and wife Krystal of Oklahoma City, Rick Edington and wife Gail of Norman, and Gary Edington of Norman; daughters Debbie Wood and husband Butch of Tuttle, and Anita Griffin and husband Morris, Jr. of Cypress, Texas; brothers Cassie Bonsall, Larry Bonsall and wife Chrissy all of Westchester, Pennsylvania; 13 grandchildren as well as many great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, a host of family and friends and two new additions on the way.
