Francis J. “Fritz” Maurer, 82, of Bethlehem, died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Westminster Village in Allentown. He was the husband of Jean (Ryan) Maurer for 57 years. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Michael and Barbara (Tangel) Maurer. Fritz honorably served his country in the Army, during the Korean War.
