Frank D’Ambrosio, son of Joseph and Laura D’Ambrosio, passed away peacefully on October 19th, 2020. Frank is survived by his wife Faye and his daughter Lauren.

Frank was born on September 5th, 1966 in Yonkers, New York. He grew up and attended school in White Plains and Harrison. Frank was an avid ice hockey player throughout high school. He subsequently attended Westchester Community College and obtained an Associate Degree in Applied Science.

Frank spent his entire career at Southern Westchester BOCES as a Special Education Technology Facilitator. He loved his work with computers and computer programming. During his 30+ years at BOCES, Frank was dedicated to supporting and teaching children, teachers, and administrators. He especially enjoyed teaching children with special needs to access and utilize technology. He developed many special friendships with colleagues during his years at BOCES.

Frank volunteered at the Wooster Mountain Shooting Range as a range officer. He was the welcoming face that greeted everyone upon arrival and loved to share his knowledge and experience. He was dedicated to teaching and ensuring the safety of, all who utilized the range.

Frank loved the outdoors – the water, the woods, and fishing. He enjoyed cooking and was king of the barbeque (salmon and ribs!). He also enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the New York Jets and the Philadelphia Flyers, no matter how much they ailed. His fun and cheerful personality (and cooking) will be missed by all who knew him.
