Francis Gale Cox, 65, of Terre Haute, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013, in her home.
She was born January 3, 1948 in Danville, Kentucky to Eli Cox and Hazel Cooley Carey.
Frances enjoyed vegetable gardening and home repair and construction. She loved to cook and help others.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carol Huffman.
She is survived by her lifetime companion, Rose Collins; daughters, Rene Shepherd of Indianapolis, Lilly Ngyen and her husband, Tommy of Virginia Beach, VA and Mary Trumbo of Indianapolis. She is also survived by her brothers, Alton Hall, of Florida, Franklin Elliott and his wife, Doris, of Anderson, Indiana and Charles Whitehouse; sisters, Brenda Bambrough of Elwood, Indiana and Laura Robin Ahern of Florida; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and very special friend, Sherry Hayes.
