Francis K. ”Frank” Foland, 86, Anderson, died June 25, 2003 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born July 6, 1916 in Elwood, Indiana, and has lived in Anderson since his moving here in 1952 from Elwood. He retired in 1975 from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors following 32 years of service. He was a 1934 graduate of Windell Wilkie High School in Elwood. He was a member of Fellowship Masonic Lodge #681 F. & A.M.; Benevolent Protective Order of Elks, Lodge #209, Anderson; and he was an avid artist. He is survived by his daughter: Kathleen A. Mahoney of Anderson. 2 Sons: Daniel F. & wife Patricia Foland of Old Hickory, TN and Robert A. & Alexa Foland of Ft. Wayne, IN. 1 Step-son: Dan & wife Dana James of Anderson. Grandchildren: David Lance Goen of Anderson; Dana Lynn Goen & husband Scott Shaw of Anderson; Andrew and wife Monica Foland of Fishers; Jennifer & husband David Strantz of Indianapolis; Elizabeth and Husband Jon Luckey of Ft. Wayne; Natasha James and husband Joe Becraft of Chesterfield; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded by his first wife: Wilma Christina Branham Foland, Whom he married Feb. 1, 1936 in Logansport and who died January 21, 1988. Second Wife: Billie James Foland who died Oct 21, 1988; and his parents Neville & Christina Sizer Foland.
