WINSTED – INSOLIA – Francis “Frank” J. Insolia, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Deborah (Mastrogiovanni) Insolia for 40 years. Born September 25, 1950 in Winsted; the son of the late Joseph and Salvatrice (Giuffrida) Insolia. Frank was employed by Pratt & Whitney for many years. He was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed watching all their games. He also loved boating and had several boats over the years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Elaine Williams and husband Kim of Winsted; three sisters-in-law, Julie Griswold and husband John of Winsted; Angela Mastrogiovanni of Winsted and Theresa Mastrogiovanni and fiancé Mike of Collinsville; two brothers-in-law, David Mastrogiovanni and wife Heidi of Torrington and Frank Mastrogiovanni and wife Cindy of Torrington; niece, Lisa Perry and husband Paul of Winsted; nephew, Erick Royer and wife Michelle of Torrington; several great nieces, great nephews and extended family and friends.
