Farber, Francis W. ‘Fran’ of Beacon, entered into rest Thursday, April 7, 2016 at home. He was 76. Born December 2, 1939 in Binghamton, NY he was the son of the late William and Ann Meyer Farber. Fran was a retired Operating Engineer with Local 137, Briarcliff Manor. He was a life member of BPO Elks Beacon #1493, St. Rocco’s Society and Beacon Engine. He served in the United States Navy, from 1958 – 1959. On March 25, 2008 he married Barbara A. Pendleton in Beacon, Barbara survives him at home. Along with his wife Barbara A. Farber survivors include: his daughter, Robin Resto of Highland, two sons, Christopher Farber of Dover and Wayne Farber of Cairo, two grandchildren, Corey & Sarah Resto of Highland, his brother-in-law, Norman and his wife Judy Pendleton, and his sister-in-law, Mary and George Fredrickson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
