Frances Stoeber, 99, of Sawyer, Michigan died January 17, 2008 at Caretel Inns in St. Joseph. Mrs. Stoeber was born February 21, 1908 in Steelville, Missouri to William and Hettie (Huitt) Coleman. She graduated from Steelville Normal in 1926 and attended Business School in St. Louis.
Mrs. Stoeber was employed as a secretary to an Appellate Judge and in later years was a travel agent. On April 26, 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia, she married Adelbert Stoeber, who preceded her death on May 30, 1967. Mrs. Stoeber was a homemaker and loving mother to her family.
She was a member of the Harbert Community Church. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Richards of New Hampshire; son James (Pat) Stoeber of North Carolina; grandchildren, Caroline (Ray) Mason, Bill Richards, Lori Horne, and Sheri Nebinger; great grandchildren William Richards IV, Stephen Richards, and Scott Richards; nieces Marceline Bowen, Frances Hoxworth, and Leila Thomas.
