Fran Stanley, age 97 of Destin, Florida entered into eternal life on July 10,2014. Mrs Stanley was born in Petersburg, Virginia on December 17, 1916 and lived for many years in West Palm Beach, Florida prior to moving to Destin in 1997.
Fran grew up in Roanoke, Virginia.
Fran is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Lewis Stanley as well as her parents, Joel and Mabel Harris.
Fran is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Roberson and her husband Clive of Palm Beach, Florida, and Nancy Mobley and her husband Forrest of Destin, Florida. She had four grandchildren, Angie Brown of London, England, Alison Gorrie of Birmingham, Alabama, Mark Mobley of Boise, Idaho, and Andrew Mobley of Puyallup, Washington. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
