Frances Roberts, 83 years of age, went to be with the Lord, January 20, 2011. Frances was living in Merritt Island Fl. She was born in Flat Top Alabama on July 7, 1927 to George Simpson Lokey and Fleta Dell Robertson Lokey . Frances graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1945 as a cheerleader. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Condred C. Roberts. Condred and Frances moved to Pittsburgh PA. in 1965 where she and Condred raised their family and remained for 33 years before returning to Trussville AL. Frances worked at American Cast Iron Pipe Company prior to becoming a devoted homemaker; she was a member of United Methodist Women’s Circle, and Beta Sigma Phi for 61 years.
She is survived by four children, Sarah E. Roberts Johnston; Condred C. Roberts Jr.; Charles F. Roberts; Donald E. Roberts, and five Grandchildren; Curtis A. Roberts; Condred C. Roberts III, Gregory B. Roberts; Nicole G. Roberts and Jake B. Roberts, as well as numerous loving extended family members.
