Surrounded by the comfort of her family, Francesca Camputaro Mastroianni, 84 , entered into rest on April 30, 2015 in Hamden ; born March 15, 1931 in New Haven; daughter of the late Domenick and Mary Ferrante Camputaro She was the beloved and devoted wife of 63 years to her husband Mario; and cherished mother of Felicia (Ralph) Apuzzo of East Haven and Anthony Mastroianni of Southington ;also survived by her loving grandchildren, Antonio, Daniel, & Marissa. She was a graduate of St. Anthony’s Grammar School and Commercial High School. She was an unbelievably loving & caring wife, mother, and Nonna to all of her family. Even as she was leaving us Frances continued to be selfless and her concern for others well being was unrelenting and unmatched. Through the years, this is a trait that she frequently displayed and one that we will all carry on for the rest of our lives. The Mastroianni family would like to thank the staff of Whitney Manor in Hamden for their compassionate care to both Francesca and her family. She was predeceased by her only daughter-in-law Ellen Mastroianni, and her sisters Madeline Day, & Ann Perrelli.
