Frances Marie Koehler, 99, of Peru, died at 9:40 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at the LaSalle Healthcare Center, where she resided for 10 years. Mrs. Koehler was born Feb. 19, 1908, in Burlington, Iowa, to Elmer and Anna (Yenger) Nelson.
She married Raymond Koehler on Feb. 12, 1927, in Peru. She was a member of St. Josephs Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She is survived by 3 sons, Donald Barkey (Bette) Koehler of Peru, Robert (Leah) Koehler of Peru, and William (Kathy) Koehler of Peru; 1 daughter, Mary Ann (Fran) Barry of Peru; 19 grandchildren; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on March 26, 1977; 1 son, Arthur Koehler; and 2 great-grandsons.
