Frances M. Lesser, 94, of Harbert, Michigan died Friday, April 25, 2014 at St. Anthony Hospice in Michigan City, Indiana.Mrs. Lesser was born November 7, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Clara (Damptz) Pionke.
On May 10, 1943 she married Arnold E. Lesser in Louisville, Kentucky.
Survivors include her grandson, Justin Arnold Lesser of LaPorte, Indiana; sisters, Geraldine Vavra of Three Oaks and Marie Druffel of Union Pier, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold on July 24, 2002 and by her daughter, Luise Lesser on November 8, 2010.
She was also preceded in death by her sisters Helen Pionke, Clara Pionke, Lorraine Kehoe and LaVerne Badini; brothers, Edmund, John, James and Richard.
