Northfield- Frances M. Johnson, 89 of Sears Dr., died Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the Marathon Health Care Center in Torrington. She was the widow to Edwin Simmons, Phillip Johnson and Harold Johnson.
Frances was born May 8, 1919 in Bennington, VT, daughter to the late Frank and Fanny (Brockway) Hewett.
Frances is survived by six sons, Terry Simmons, William Simmons, James Simmons, Godfrey Wells, Noel Wells, Michael Martin, three daughters, Judy Murgatroy, Dorie Williams, Cheryl Peck, a brother, Sterling Hewett, forty six grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
