Frances M. Illias, 68, of Virginia, IL died Monday, June 29, 2015 at her residence.
She was born June 30, 1946 in LaHarpe, IL, the daughter of Ursal and Frances Smith Pitt. She married Larry G. Illias on June 26, 1966 in Dallas City, IL and he preceded her in death on July 17, 2001.
She is survived by a son, Kyle Illias of Virginia; three grandchildren, Brittany and Catlin Illias of Orlando, FL and Lily Illias of Woodson; three siblings, Gerald Pitt of Springfield, Adelaide Miller of Wilton, IA, and John Pitt (wife, Marytha) of Neveda, IA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kris Illias; and a grandson, Burton Illias.
Mrs. Illias was a graduate of Dallas City High School in Dallas City and Gem City Business College in Quincy. She was employed at Blue Cross-Blue Shield in Jacksonville for 20 years. She was a member of Virginia United Methodist Church, Explorers Bible Study, and was a volunteer with the Bread of Love program.
