Frances Lee King, “LeeLee,” 62, of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at her residence on Saint Simons Island. LeeLee was born January 20, 1955 in Albany, Georgia, the daughter of the late Cliff Worthy King and the late Frances Mitchell King. She graduated in the class of 1973 from Deerfield-Windsor School. She then received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1977 from Georgia Southern University, where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She was a retired Delta Airline flight attendant who had a passion for the lifestyle on Saint Simons Island where she had resided for the last eighteen years.

LeeLee was preceded in death by her parents, Cliff Worthy King and Emily Frances King and her precious son, Charles Avery Langford. She is survived by her two brothers, Ladd King (Madge) of Lake of Ozarks, MO and Rodd King of Plano, TX; her two sisters, Kitty Sokol (Dave) of Columbia, TN and Ivy King Bell of Albany, GA; Her step mother, Elisabeth Williams King of Cordele, GA; two step sisters, SuSu Burt (Sonny) and Mary Rainwater (David) both of Cordele, GA; one step brother, Dr. Wendell “Buddy” Williams (Kathy) of Jacksonville, FL. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

LeeLee enjoyed the community and cultural activities that St. Simons offers.
