Frances Katherine Basile, 79, of Clarksburg, WV died on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at her family home. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, John and Catherine Basile, her siblings, Mary, Teresa, Samuel, John, and her niece, Catherine Basile Rocchio. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Terrie, Sara, John, Joan, Mary Catherine, Michael, Donna, and David, and her close family friends, the Marino girls: Bernadette, Betty, Mary Kay, Rita, and Roberta. Frances was a devout member of Immaculate Conception Church. Frances began her career at Sears, Roebuck & Company until taking a job at WBOY, where she worked for decades in many capacities, including newscaster and program director until her retirement.
Frances was a lifelong member of the Clarksburg community and will be dearly missed by her numerous family and friends.
