Miss Frances Johnson, age 92, went home to be with her Lord on December 12, 2015. Frances was born September 9, 1923 in Pasadena, California, the daughter of Lambert and Nellie (VanEkeres) Johnson. She has been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed for 23 years with Marsh Grocery Store and for 26 years with Hoekstra Hardware.
Frances was a longtime member of the Netherlands Reformed Congregation. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her siblings, Cornelia Young, John and Henry Johnson. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Henrietta Johnson and many nieces and nephews.
