Frances Hayes Curtis, 82, Rossville, entered her eternal home on November 19, 2006. She was born January 26, 1924 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Harriet and Madison Hayes. Mrs. Curtis was a 1942 graduate of Red Bank High School where she was one of the school’s first majorettes. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin C. Curtis, son, Neil A. Curtis, two sisters and one brother. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Cindy Curtis Ringgold; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Debbie Curtis, Ooltewah; daughter, Dr. Karen Curtis, Carrollton, Georgia; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
