Frances Faye Goodson, 81

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and sister, Frances Faye Goodson, 81, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away February 13, 2019 at Pacifica Pinehurst.  She was born October 3, 1937 in Gillham, Arkansas; Frances was the daughter of Hosey and Beatrice (Harper) Barnes.

Frances moved to the Silver Valley in her early high school years.  She attended and graduated as salutatorian of her class from the Kingston High School in 1955.

Frances married Daniel E. Goodson on May 28, 1955 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; Daniel passed away on February 7, 2017.

Frances was a loving and devoted homemaker raising her family.  She was also a secretary for her husband Daniel’s accounting business.

Frances was a member of a womens’ bowling league.  She loved and enjoyed her family- especially her grandchildren, gardening, cooking and walking; she was also an avid reader.

Frances is survived by three children Lowell (Karen) Goodson of Spokane Valley, Washington, Sandy (Paul) Schlepp of Rose Lake, Idaho and Karen (Doug) Overholtzer of Post Falls, Idaho; her grandchildren Kristina (Darrell) Bowen, Joshua (Alicia) Goodson, Myles Goodson, Lacy Goodson, Mariah (Taylor) Wigg, Tori Overholtzer and Tessa Overholtzer; great-grandchildren Bryson, Brantley and Brianna Bowen; one great-great granddaughter Brynlee Rose Bowen; one sister Merle Goodson of Rose Lake, Idaho; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews; she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Daniel, and one sister Jewel Sullivan.

Frances was very loving and had a purely kind soul.  She was always hospitable and would have tea ready for anyone stopping by.  Frances was so loved by her family and friends and will be truly missed.
