Frances Fay Reed, 81 of Rt. 1 Thornton, WV went to be with the Lord and her loved ones on March 13, 2013. She was born on September 23, 1931 in Mannington, daughter of the late Frederick and Dessie Mrytle McDaniel Strader. She married her husband Francis Albert Reed who preceded her in death on June 21, 1999. Surviving are two children; Kerry Lynn and John Christopolus, Stevensville, MD; Rebecca Dian and Charles Eirich, Glassboro, NJ; 7 grandchildren; Nicole D. and David Barnes, Louis C. Hively, Benjamin D. and Rachael Eirich, Heather M. and James DiGregorio, Candace R. Eirich and companion Travis Yates, Tosha Christopolus and companion Fred Sipes, Angela and Shayne Taylor; 9 great-grandchildren, Ava, Zoe, Jacob, Myles, Landon, Christopher, Brett, Lea and Freddie. In addition to her husband and her parents she was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters. She was an avid reader and loved doing ceramics.
