Frances Ellis Vaile Cooper, 88, of Chickamauga, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, October 9, 2016. She was born on September 28, 1928 in Walker County, Georgia as the only child of James William and Ruth Adams Ellis. She had resided in Chickamauga for most of her life with the exception of a brief stay in California.
She is survived by close friends Connie Burr and Steve and Debbie Atchson; her cousin Carole Walter and her husband Tom, and her niece: Elizabeth Biggers. Frances will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
