Frances Elizabeth (Thurston) Martinez, age 60, of Centralia, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Frances was born on September 7, 1955, a daughter to Myrle and Mary (Mordini) Thurston. She married Charles Martinez on May 28, 1977 and he preceded her in death on February 23, 2006.
She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Martinez of Centralia and Dawn Martinez-Uribe and husband, Francisco of Centralia; three sons, Charlie Martinez and wife, Carla of Sandoval, Jon Martinez and partner, Ric Miller of Oklahoma, and Michael Martinez and wife, Jennifer of Missouri; 10 grandchildren, Zach Martinez, Terry Martinez and fiancé, Tiffany Lyons, Josh Hicks, Bryan Martinez, Austin Martinez, Makayla Martinez, Thomas Martinez, Logan Dailey, Cruz Uribe, Esai Uribe, and Gabriella Uribe; two great-grandchildren, Bo and Tymber Martinez; and three brothers, Phil, Bill, and Bob Thurston. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles.
Frances was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Centralia and Order of Eastern Star. She loved watching cooking shows and the Hallmark Channel and especially enjoyed keeping up with her family and friends on Facebook. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, who she loved dearly.
