Frances E Higginbottom, 87, of Anderson, passed away on January 22, 2018 at Countryside Manor Health and Living Community Anderson. She was born on February 20, 1930 in Newport, Arkansas, and grew up in Alicia, Arkansas, but resided most of her life in Anderson.
Frances graduated from Walnut Ridge High School, and she worked 23 years for Dr. Moreillion. She was a long time member of Idlewold Country Club in Pendleton. She enjoyed golf, Indiana University Basketball, and spending time with her family.
Frances is survived by her son, Bryce Higginbottom of Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Higginbottom; mother, Edna Claxton; father, Lee Claxton; brothers, Lowell Claxton, Adrain Claxton, and Dwain Claxton.
