She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis William Womble, and brother, Elton Webb.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Skinner (Dan) of Elm City, and Gail Wise (Jim) of Raleigh; brother, Maxie Webb of Macclesfield; grandchildren, Jordan Skinner, Holly McLaughlin (William), Eason Thomas; great-grandchild, Oliver McLaughlin; and her beloved cat, Whiskers.
