Frances D. Ritchie, 89, of Bristol, widow of James Ritchie, died Monday, July 30, 2007 at Bristol Hospital. Frances was born December 2, 1917, in New Haven, a daughter of the late Michael, and Anastasia (Maruszorak) Doley.
Wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and LPN, joins her husband James in eternal rest. Frances leaves her daughter Nancy Varkal, Nancy’s family- husband Robert, sons Peter, Paul, grandchildren Cody, Halle, Chad, Frances’s, son James Ritchie, James’s family-wife Marianne, children, Sarah, Zachery, and Heather, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. Her legacy was always an open house for those who needed a place of rest, comfort, and compassionate discussion over a cup of tea and toast. Many will remember those conversations and the help she gave.
