Frances Chandler, age 86 of Newnan passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
She was born in Elbert County, GA to the late John & Rosa Duncan and in addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Mack Flynn Chandler, Jr., daughter, Carol Diane Chandler, three brothers and three sisters and grand dog, George.
She is survived by her children, Sandra & Richard Daines of Fernandina Beach, FL. and Peggy & Philip Barrett of Newnan. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Brandon & Julie Barrett of Chandler, AZ, Shelley & Ryan Haning of Newnan, and sister in law, Lavern Newman of Newnan.
Mrs. Chandler was a member of the Pomona Park Garden Club in Atlanta and was a long time member of Sylvan Hills Baptist Church. After moving to Newnan she joined the First Baptist Church in Newnan. Mrs. Chandler grew up in the Lakewood Heights neighborhood in Atlanta and was a graduate of Fulton High School.
