Frances Bowman, 72, of New Buffalo, Michigan died Monday evening, April 16, 2007.Frances was born February 25, 1935 Houghton, Michigan to Marvin and Anna (Walman) Watts. She graduated from Marshall High School in Los Angeles, California in 1952. On November 28, 1957 she married Paul L. Bowman, he preceded her in death on September 16, 1996. Frances was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Three Oaks, Michigan, and enjoyed painting, needlecraft and using her computer.
Survivors include her children, David (Christina) Bowman of Pittsboro, North Carolina; Jim (Denise) Bowman of St. Joseph, Michigan; Jeffrey Bowman of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Sheila (Butch) Conklin of New Buffalo and Cynthia (Kerry) Foley of Galien, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Aaron, Thomas, Ryan, Tabitha, Chris, M.G. and Michelle. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Gould and her brother Bobby Watts.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Three Oaks, Michigan with Reverend Father Leon Mertensotto, CSC as celebrant. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Berrien Springs.
