“Together Again”
Frances Mercer, 88, of Ogden passed away on June 6, 2016 at her home. She was born May 3, 1928 in Sheridan, Maine to Ella (Jimo) and Frederick J. Shorette. She married Charles Ray Mercer April 24, 1955 they were married for 51 years; he preceded her in death.
Frances enjoyed puzzles, crosswords, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She loved to travel throughout Utah with family. She had the opportunity to travel overseas while married to Charles. She lived in England, Germany, then Holland. While in Holland she traveled to Belgium and France. She enjoyed people and had an amazing impact on those she came in contact with; she was always happy. She will be missed dearly.
Frances is survived by her children, Louie (Terry) of West Valley, Karen Lee Day of Ogden, John Charles (Nancy) Mercer of New Jersey; grandchildren, 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Aja, Grace, Christopher, Cory, Kevin, Eddie, Jon, Robby and Patrick; 15 great-grandchildren and her sister Annie Sedlar of Wisconsin.
