John Farrow, an Eastern Orthodox Priest (full name Mason John Farrow) age 86, entered into eternal life after a brief illness on January 12, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sarah (aka Sally) Tapp Farrow and four sons, Christopher (Taña), Daniel, William, and Nicholas (Christine); grandsons, Benjamin and Nicholas; numerous nieces and nephews. Born to Mason Lee Farrow and Elizabeth Catherine Wiest Farrow in Boulder, Colorado, on April 4, 1935, he was the oldest of eight brothers and predeceased by three of them, Richard, Stephen, and David. His surviving siblings are Joseph of Yuma, Arizona; Robert (Anne) of Pacifica, California; Michael (Vicky) of Healdsburg, California; and Thomas (Bobbi) of Rockvale, Colorado.

John served in the United States Air Force as a Radio Traffic Analyst. He was stationed in Turkey for two years. After his return to the United States, he served in the Air Force Reserve until his discharge in 1962. After his discharge, he returned to school earning a BA degree in Mathematics from Western State College, Gunnison, Colorado in June 1966. He and Sarah were married August 6, 1966.

After working briefly for Martin Marietta, John went back to school to earn his MA in Mathematics from the University of Denver, which he received in June 1969. He then served the State of Colorado for nearly 30 years as a Water Quality Engineer.
